DOUBLE ORDER FROM ELEC & ELTEK

PAL was delighted to receive an order for two machines from Elec & Eltek in Thailand at end of July 2002. The two machines, a Desmear/PTH/Panel line and a Pattern Plating line, will be located next to each other with common services between them. With production due to start in the second week of January 2003, speed is of the essence and PAL is working to a tight schedule. Delivery is to take place in early November, just 15 weeks from the date the order was placed; a week has been allowed for shipment and on-site installation and commissioning will take six weeks.

Vital statistics
Both lines have 180" x 25" plating windows, output capacities of 90.7K square feet per week and feature a semi-automatic loading and automatic unloading system with converyors already built in for upgrading to full automation.

The Desmear/PTH/Panel line is approximately 49M (L) x 6.1M (W) x 4.65M (H) and features five gate-type transporters with open/close mechanism; and eight Copper plating tanks with PAL’s eductor system and enhanced shielding feature. Its companion machine, the Pattern plating line is, at 51M, slightly longer than its companion machine but it is the same width and height. It will have four gate-type transporters with open/close mechanism; 16 Copper plating tanks with PAL’s eductor system and enhanced shielding feature; and two Tin plating tanks with Zirconium clad Copper anode rail and Zirconium anode baskets.

Elec & Eltek now have four PAL vertical plating machines and three tab gold plating machines and are delighted with the quality of work they produce and with PAL’s after sales service. “Reliability and quality are of equal importance to us, and our experience of working with PAL is that we can expect both from their machines.
